Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, cash handling, and store financial records.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store traffic and sales.
- Supervise shift management, customer service standards, phone etiquette, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations while fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory management checks to prevent shrinkage and optimize stock levels.

Experience

- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math.
- Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and purchasing within a retail setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and manage diverse teams in multiple languages or bilingual environments preferred.
- Prior experience in grocery stores or wireless sales is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with retail management software and operational tools such as POS systems is essential.
