Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, supporting early childhood development, and working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students. A strong background in early childhood education, classroom experience, and effective communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Incorporate instructional design principles to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young learners.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student development in areas such as math, writing, and literacy.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, classroom activities, and school events.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and behavioural concerns.
- Support the social development of children through classroom activities that promote cooperation and respect.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and developmental milestones.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Ability to design instructional activities that are age-appropriate, engaging, and inclusive.
- Excellent writing skills for report writing, lesson planning, and parent correspondence.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
