Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospital and acute care settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical best practices
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote recovery and improve mobility
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards within clinical settings
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices through continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body
- Proven experience in hospital settings, particularly in acute care environments
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills for clear patient education and team collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
