Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Skilled Labourer with opportunities to work with our Prep Crew. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our paving operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand grades, set laser level, rake gravel to grade and compact material with rollers/ plate compactor
- Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, and lifting heavy materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and vehicles.
- Willingness to advance and learn new skills
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is required. Class 3 or 1 considered an asset.
- Previous experience in construction or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures and protocols.
