Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Customer Service Manager. This position may start part-time in May/June and become full-time in mid-August for the right candidate. Pay is between $24 - $26 per hour, with some flexibility depending on experience.
Your focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service and offering efficient operational/administrative support to both students, as well as our owners. You will be the friendly face of our business at times, but also supporting the overall operations of our business by coordinating coaching, training, meetings and other operational responsibilities. Your ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with customers both in person and through email, is key to providing a seamless customer and staff experience.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share our company's values, explain the diverse range of offerings available, and provide insights into how our music school is run. Experience is required and a willingness to work weekday afternoon/evenings and Saturday hours is a must (for the long-term future).
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma is required, but post-secondary education is preferred
- A clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Fast typing speed
- Experience in a fast-faced role with a background in administration and customer service
- Professional, courteous manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Empathetic and a “good listener”
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Flexible and able to work well with a variety of personalities
- Ability to exercise tact, good judgment and diplomacy in all student and peer interactions
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings
