We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Yard Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an essential part of ensuring the smooth operation of daily yard activities.
This position includes on-site training in the use of various equipment, such as forklifts and loaders, as well as hands-on experience with container modifications and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination of daily yard operations and workflow management.
- Monitor inventory levels and support procurement processes.
- Help with the loading and unloading of containers.
- Perform general yard maintenance.
- Assist with container repairs and modifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in operations is preferred but not required.
- Must be technically inclined and eager to learn.
- Forklift operation and welding experience are assets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
