Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server Assistant to support our restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and customer service standards. Previous experience in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality is a plus.
Duties
- Assist servers with table setup, clearing, and resetting to ensure timely service
- Support food preparation and delivery to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food handling responsibilities in accordance with food safety regulations
- Operate Silverware for order entry and payment processing
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow
- Support kitchen staff with basic meal preparation or ingredient retrieval as needed
- Assist with cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments
- Provide guest services by answering questions and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Silverware or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of food safety procedures and handling practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or barista duties is advantageous
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
