About the Role
YOTEA is a fresh fruit tea brand located in Richmond, BC. We are hiring a Management Trainee to join our growing team. This position is designed for candidates who are passionate about leadership and want to build a long-term career in store management.
This is not an entry-level management position. During the training period, you will learn every core store function from the ground up while gradually developing the leadership, operational, and decision-making skills required for future management roles.
Probation & Development
This position includes a 3-month probation period.
During the probation period, you will be required to complete training and demonstrate competency in all major store functions, including Cashier, Tea Barista, Fruit Prep, customer service, inventory management, food safety, and daily store operations.
You will also be expected to develop management skills by:

Learning and enforcing company SOPs and policies

Supervising and supporting team members

Reporting operational issues promptly

Taking initiative to solve problems

Supporting shift coverage when required

Assisting management in maintaining smooth daily operations
Your performance will be evaluated throughout the probation period based on your learning progress, leadership potential, responsibility, execution, teamwork, communication, and operational knowledge.
Successful candidates who meet YOTEA's management standards may be promoted to Shift Leader or Assistant Store Manager or Manager, depending on business needs and overall performance.
Shift hours

Afternoon shift: 11:00 AM/ 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Night shift: 5:30 PM to Close (approx. 12 AM)

Actual schedules or extra paid hours may vary based on operational needs.
Main Responsibilities

Learn and perform all core store positions, including Cashier, Tea Barista, Fruit Prep, and daily operations

Complete all required management training and operational assessments
-
Support daily store operations and ensure company SOPs are followed
-
Assist supervisors and managers with shift coordination and daily operational tasks
-
Help train and support new team members when assigned
-
Report operational issues promptly and actively participate in finding solutions
-
Support staffing needs and shift coverage when required
-
Maintain high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork
-
Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, responsibility, and a positive attitude
Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Must be available for full-time, long-term employment
-
Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
-
Willing to learn every store position before moving into management responsibilities

Strong leadership potential, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
-
Responsible, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and company standards
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in bubble tea, café, restaurant, retail, or food service is an asset
-
Previous Shift Lead or Supervisor experience is an asset but not required
-
Experience training or supporting team members is an asset
-
English is required; Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
-
Must successfully complete the 3-month probation period.

通过试用期并达到 YOTEA 管理标准者,将根据个人表现及门店营运需求,有机会晋升为 领班(Shift Leader) 或 副店长(Assistant Store Manager)。
班次时间

早班:上午 11:00 / 中午 12:00 至 下午 5:30

晚班:下午 5:30 至 收店(约凌晨 12:00)

实际排班及额外有薪工作时间将根据门店营运需求安排。
主要工作内容

学习并熟练掌握门店所有核心岗位,包括收银、茶饮制作、水果切配及日常运营工作。

完成公司安排的管理培训课程及各项营运考核。

协助门店日常运营,确保公司 SOP 与各项标准得到落实。

协助主管及管理层进行班次协调及日常营运工作。

根据需要协助培训及支持新员工。
-
主动汇报门店运营问题,并积极参与解决方案。

门店有需要时,积极支援各岗位及顶班。
-
维持高标准的顾客服务、产品品质、食品安全、环境卫生及团队合作。

以专业态度、责任感及积极精神展现未来管理者应有的领导能力。
岗位要求

必须具备在加拿大合法工作的资格。

可长期从事全职工作。

可接受轮班,包括平日、周末及公众假期。

愿意先学习并熟悉所有门店岗位,再逐步承担管理职责。

具备良好的领导潜力、沟通能力、组织能力及问题解决能力。

做事积极主动、责任感强,并愿意持续学习及遵循公司标准。

有奶茶店、咖啡店、餐饮、零售或食品服务行业经验者优先。
-
有领班、主管或团队带领经验者优先,但不是必须。

有员工培训或指导经验者优先。

具备英语工作沟通能力;会普通话或粤语者优先。

必须顺利完成 3 个月试用期。
