Allstar Waterproofing is seeking Level 1 to 3 Rope Access Technicians for various restoration projects. This position requires an individual comfortable working at significant heights, primarily focusing on concrete and masonry restoration. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in restorations including repairing masonry.

Duties and Responsibilities
While working at heights on ropes your duties will be
- Masonry Restoration: Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations.
- Repair & Maintenance: Restore, repair, or replace brick, stone, or concrete; perform general repairs, window cleaning/repair, sandblasting, and other masonry cleaning tasks.
- Technical Access: Install and utilize rappelling equipment, swing stages, high ladders, specialized scaffolding, and elevated work platforms (AWPs) around high-rise structures.
- Inspection & Assessment: Inspect building damage and perform repairs including masonry coatings, waterproofing, brick/stone pointing, precast repairs, caulking, and natural stone restoration.
- Safety Compliance: Follow established safety rules and instructions.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety laws and uphold the quality standards outlined by Allstar Waterproofing.
- Rope access to hard to reach areas without a work platform.
- Descend, ascend and transverse ropes for access and work while suspend by harness.
- Perform duties including inspections, repairs, painting touch ups, water proofing, caulking and other kinds of work at height or high angle.
- Perform repairs/ maintenance activities at height or high angle.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in restoration or related high-angle work.
- Certifications Required: IRATA- Fall Protection- Swing Stage Operation and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Education: Trades certificate High School diploma.
Languages: English.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints; ability to instruct apprentices.
Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, team player, with excellent oral communication skills.
Physical Capabilities & Environment:
- Physically Demanding: Must be able to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- High-Pressure Environments: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with high attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Work Site Conditions: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty, or wet/damp conditions.
