We’re looking to enhance our team by welcoming a new Inventory Coordinator to the Warehouse Team. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards. This role supervises real-time inventory tracking, conducts audits and cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and updates records in ERP system and to document reason for entries. The Inventory Coordinator also supports team members through guidance, communication, and leadership, while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. In addition, the role collaborates across departments to resolve issues, drive efficiency, and ensure materials and products are accurately managed to meet production and customer needs.
The role:
- Safety: Be a role model to ensure safety policies, procedures, programs, practices and standards are in place and adhered to.
- Quality: Ensures self and employees have a working understanding of product specifications, GMPs, HACCP, hygiene and production procedures.
- Teamwork/ Leadership: Supports TONFI Values & Culture through positive open communication, motivation and providing prompt and effective responses to employees’ concerns. Support and guide hourly team members to make the best out of the team.
- To maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and to monitor and control inventory with complete integrity.
- To maintain a product location, Lot Number, and Quantity and to research if there are any discrepancies and take the necessary corrective action.
- Supervise and maintain record of all real-time inventory level to ensure accuracy and stock out.
- Work with and support Warehouse in maintaining the accuracy of ingredients and packaging inventory by monitoring, coordinating, and making entries in ERP system on daily basis.
- Conduct regular spot audit and cycle count.
- Create entry adjustments into ERP system which reflects current physical inventory levels.
- Investigate the causes of inventory related discrepancies.
- Using established techniques thoroughly investigates and documents all adverse incidents report on the shift, including but not limited to QA, H&S, ERP, Scheduling and Production.
- Continuous Improvement - Support and drive a culture of continuous improvement at TONFI to create efficiencies and add value for the customer.
- In the event the warehouse is short-staffed, the inventory coordinator will need to assist where necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

You offer:
- College diploma is preferred.
- 2-4 years’ manufacturing experience (Food Industry preferred).
- Computer literate in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of ERP (Sage X3 is an asset).
- Demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Detail oriented.
- Good organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Great communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
- Comfortable with technology and documentation.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
- GMP and HACCP training.
- Warehousing experience is essential.
- Must be Forklift certified and proven experience operating Forklifts.
- First Aid and CPR and asset, training to be provide within the first 3 months of roleacceptance.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
