Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
- Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within the store’s operational hours.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Accepting and putting orders away
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (Cases of liquor/wine/beer)
- Must be 19 years of age or older to qualify working
- Must have your Serving It Right, or obtain prior to starting
- Responsible / Sound Judgment (IDing, Over-service, Booting, etc.)
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential.
- Liquor knowledge is advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
