Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Group Home Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to children in a supportive living enviroment .
The Support Worker will play a vital role in ensuring children's ' safety, well-being, and comfort through personalized care and daily support activities.
Duties
- Assist with daily living activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to, fostering a positive environment
- Support children to participate in recreational activities and social engagement programs
- Maintain a clean and safe living space by performing housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Participate in cultural activities in the community.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in childcare and or social work preferred.
- Diploma or degree in human service or social work field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture .
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation as needed
- Reliable transportation

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
