Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time Shrink Wrap Technician to work indoors on large industrial filter systems. This role involves using a propane torch to heat, stretch, and shrink plastic wrap securely around equipment for protection and transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and apply shrink wrap to large industrial filter systems
- Operate a propane torch safely to heat and shrink wrap materials
- Stretch and secure plastic wrap to ensure tight, durable coverage
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper sealing
- Follow all safety procedures when working with heat tools and materials
- Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with shrink wrapping or similar work is an asset (training can be provided)
- Forklift license is preferred
- Comfortable using propane torch / heat tools
- Physically fit and able to handle large materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
