This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
The role is a senior QA/Test Lead position focused on Earnix Rating & Pricing within P&C insurance, supporting complex rating modernization and migration programs (including Guidewire Earnix).
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead end to end QA and testing for Earnix Rating & Pricing initiatives across P&C insurance
- Define and own test strategy, approach, and execution for complex programs
- Validate rating algorithms, pricing models, and business rules in Earnix
- Lead functional, integration, regression testing, and support UAT
- Perform data migration testing, including source to target reconciliation and data quality checks
- Validate end to end rating flows (quote bind) between Earnix, Guidewire, and downstream systems
- Establish test governance, entry/exit criteria, and defect management
- Collaborate closely with actuarial, business, and IT teams
- Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, defects, and release readiness
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 10–15 years of QA / Testing experience in P&C insurance
- Strong hands on experience with Earnix Rating / Pricing platform
- Deep knowledge of insurance pricing and rating workflows (Personal and/or Commercial Lines)
- Proven experience testing rating algorithms, pricing models, and premium calculations
- Experience with Guidewire rating systems and Guidewire Earnix migrations
- Strong SQL and data validation skills
- Experience with integration and API testing
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.*
