Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across our supply chain operations. In this role, you will analyze complex data sets, develop insightful dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement, manufacturing, and demand planning processes. Duties
- Analyze supply chain data using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics related to procurement, demand planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and ERP systems like SAP ERP.
- Collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and streamline procurement processes through data insights.
- Support demand planning activities by analyzing historical data and forecasting future needs using advanced analytics techniques.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities within supply chain workflows.
- Monitor SAP and other ERP systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all supply chain functions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on process enhancement, system upgrades, or new technology integrations related to supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a related field.
- Proven experience working with supply chain data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems, MRP processes, demand planning, procurement, and purchasing workflows.
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Ability to interpret large datasets accurately and translate findings into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly and effectively across teams.
