Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cell Phone Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile devices, including Android and iOS smartphones. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operating systems, hardware components, and software troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various mobile devices, including Android and iOS smartphones
- Troubleshoot software issues related to operating systems such as macOS, Windows, and mobile OS platforms
- Use schematics and technical manuals to identify hardware problems
- Perform repairs involving computer hardware components and mobile device parts
- Utilize hand tools effectively for disassembly and assembly of devices
- Conduct analysis to determine the root cause of device malfunctions
- Assist customers with device troubleshooting, repair options, and product recommendations in a retail setting
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices, including familiarity with Android and iOS platforms
- Knowledge of operating systems such as macOS, Windows, and mobile OS environments
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting hardware issues
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware components and repair techniques
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex electronic problems
- Experience using hand tools for electronic repairs
- Retail sales experience is advantageous but not required; excellent communication skills are essential
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques for mobile devices and computers
