IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Woodstock, Ontario. Our client is a custom metal fabrication operation producing made-to-order, precision-formed components for a variety of industrial applications.
Location: Woodstock, ON
Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate bends and tolerances
- Select appropriate tooling and perform machine adjustments as required
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating brake press machines in a welding/fabrication environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working with steel and aluminum materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
