Patio Attendants required - Sunset Terrace - Fort Garry Hotel

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 3PM – 11PM
note: hours & days may be subject to change ex: Special Events/Bookings that may fall on Sundays & Mondays.

Duties
Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
Process cash, debit & credit card transactions following standard operating procedures.
Ensure bar is stocked; Ensure stock is fresh, including garnishes.
Cleaning and picking up plates and glasses.
Getting tables ready for next guests
Restocking glasses and other supplies.
Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness and safety.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year F&B Steward/ Busperson experience required.
Preference will be given to candidates that have at least 1 year of proven Bartending and F&B serving experience.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively in English ( read/write/speak) with guests and co-workers. An additional language is an asset.
Punctuality and reliability are key factors in this role.
Have a positive attitude and the willingness to work as part of a team.
Able to multitask efficiently and take direction from others.
Strong organizational skills.
MUST have SMART CHOICES - Province of MB Responsible Beverage Service Certification.
MUST legally be able to work in Canada ( already have a work permit) at time of application.
MUST be 18 years of age at time of application.
Important: all Patio Attendants will be working OUTSIDE for the summer; all Patio Attendants are standing/walking/carrying/bending throughout their shift.
