Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and replacements
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical problems
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs
- Assist in heavy lifting during the repair process, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience with welding is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job duties
- Customer service skills to enhance client interactions and satisfaction
- Familiarity with automotive schematics and assembly processes
