We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to assist our Dental Office Manager with efficiency and problem solving skills at our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a dental office setting, with excellent organizational and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing daily administrative functions, assisting with staff supervision, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. The Assistant Dental Office Manager plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of office efficiency, patient care, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Office Manager in coordinating daily administrative operations within the dental practice.
- Supervise staff, ensuring excellent patient service and effective communication.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes using Dentrix practice management software.
- Support human resources functions including staff onboarding and training
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with budgeting, supply inventory management, and vendor relations to optimize office resources.
- Facilitate communication between dental practitioners, staff, patients, and external partners to promote a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management, dental assisting or administrative roles within a dental office setting.
- Strong proficiency with Dentrix or comparable practice management software and electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Prior supervisory experience in a dental office environment, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Experience with human resources functions such as staffing and training.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- VERY STRONG problem solving skills and analytical skills.
- PROVEN ABILITY to prioritize.
- MUST HAVE dental office experience.
