Duties
- Engage with customers in-store and at their homes to assess renovation needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Manage sales transactions efficiently using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and record keeping
- Negotiate pricing, upsell premium products, and close high-end sales by highlighting product benefits and value propositions
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management and follow-up communications
- Assist with merchandising efforts to showcase products attractively and optimize retail space for maximum sales impact
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products, special offers, and renovation services to increase customer engagement
Experience
- Proven outside sales experience, preferably within home improvement, renovation, or construction sectors
- Strong background in retail sales, inside sales, or customer service roles with excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated success in negotiation, upselling, and product demos to drive revenue growth
- Knowledge of renovation processes, construction practices, or related technical skills enhances effectiveness in this role
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and organizational skills necessary for smooth operations
- Prior account management experience that showcases your ability to nurture client relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously
