Job Overview
The Warehouse Clerk (3-month contract) is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, kitting, inventory handling, shipping, and general warehouse upkeep. This role ensures materials are accurately received, stored, prepared, and shipped, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, receive, and ship parts and materials accurately and efficiently.
- Perform inventory storage, stock control, and participate in inventory counts.
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move and prepare parts.
- Kit and prepare components for production based on manufacturing needs.
- Load and unload carriers; prepare goods for shipment.
- Unpack and count goods received and route materials to appropriate destinations.
- Conduct basic data entry and maintain required files and documentation.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages; record postage charges.
- Provide local courier/messenger services as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse work areas.
- Follow all company safety protocols, operational standards, and PPE requirements.
- All other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Experience:
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials-handling experience is an asset.
- Forklift operation experience or certification is strongly preferred/must-have depending on local requirements.
- Languages:
- Proficiency in English required.
- French language skills are considered an asset.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
- Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment involving physical handling of materials, equipment operation, and adherence to PPE and safety standards.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada; this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 kg and perform bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
