Grizzli Winery has one of the largest tasting rooms across Canada. We welcome visitors from all around the world to share our passion for BC wine!
We are looking for energetic, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team. Our Associates don't need to have a background in wine, but must have a passion for wine, a positive attitude, and enjoy providing an optimal hospitality experience for our visitors.
Main Responsibilities:
· Providing an exemplary tasting room guest experience including hosting wine tastings, sharing knowledge regarding our story, philosophy, award-winning wines and vineyards.
· Perform all aspects of tasting room operations, including accurate operation of cash register and point of sale system, inventory management, stocking, and winery cleaning
· Promoting in-person and online sales.
· Providing excellent tasting and tours
· Excellent knowledge of all products and promotions at Grizzli Winery
· Opening and closing the winery when required
· Assisting with event execution at Winery
· Other assigned duties
Job Requirements
· Fluency in English
· Two years of customer service and sales experience
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to stand for some periods of time, and routinely lift up to 40 pounds
· Dependable and punctual
· Confident and motivated
· A passion for wine and educating others on it
· A current Serving It Right certificate
· WSET or secondary language is an asset
Must be at least 19 years of age
Wage based on experience
