A seasoned Property Manager is required for a growing property development company that has been in business for over 30 years. We have a diverse portfolio comprised of commercial, residential, industrial, SRO's and retail properties.
- The ideal candidate will be a reliable customer focused individual, with prior property management experience.
- Candidate will be assigned a mixed portfolio of several properties, which will require extensive travel time for site visits and meetings.
- In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of each property, the property manager will negotiate lease contracts, enforce rental agreements, oversee maintenance, manage all administrative functions, and attend to complaints and emergency calls.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts and leases with contractors, manage quotes and costs effectively
- Must negotiate lease contracts, enforce rental agreements
- Provide accuracy for all administrative functions
- Must attend to complaints and emergency calls
- Operating expenses and collect receivables
- Must comply with property safety standards for building codes and attend weekly management meetings
- Must work with tenants, vendors, and contractors for timely maintenance
- Monitoring all ongoing maintenance and provide regular site visits
- Responsible for financial performance and tracking of all properties
- Handle tenant requirements, assign maintenance work as needed
- Position requires extensive travel, site visits, and meetings.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays off
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in property management
- knowledge of operations and building systems
- Team player with superior problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to handle high-stress environments with professionalism
- Ability to travel and work an unpredictable schedule
- Strong negotiation skills, and the ability to create & maintain budgets
- Valid Class 5 BC drivers license and a reliable vehicle
