Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for creating, correct or improve CNC Programs for parts or products in accordance with the engineering specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Document CNC programming parameters according to company standards.
- Support the production department for maintenance of existing products.
- Find and use technology or techniques to improve existing products or to integrate into new products.
- Find ways to lower costs and improve quality of our products.
- Provide technical support to other employees as needed.
- Troubleshoot software problems.
- Operate punching or brake machines as required.
- Liaison with the Manufacturing Team in supporting product build standards and operational requirements of sheet metal equipment and machinery.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of supporting documentation, specifications, technical manuals, etc.
- Complete other duties as directed by the CNC Programmer & Manufacturing Manager.
Skills, Education, and/or Experience
The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the CNC Programmer Profile or candidates for the position:
- Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience programming, operating and maintaining sheet metal CNC equipment such as Lasers, Turrets, Press Brakes etc.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Ability to read and produce technical documents.
- Understanding of manufacturing and engineering design processes.
- Ability to apply theoretical concepts toward practical results.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workloads.
- Team Player with a focus on quality.
- Self-motivated with plenty of ambition and drive.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Job Conditions
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and looking at a computer.
- Light physical effort – able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
- Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Factory, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Office.
- May be exposed to loud, repetitive sounds from machinery or equipment.
- May use chemicals or other in accordance with MSDS.
- May operate machinery in close proximity or with objects exposed to eyes or face.
