ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals for the household, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
· Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods with precision and consistency.
· Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by a dietitian or chef, where applicable.
· Design customized menus based on dietary needs, preferences, allergies, and health goals.
· Determine appropriate food portion sizes and presentation standards.
· Estimate food requirements and costs and manage grocery shopping and supply ordering.
· Source high-quality, seasonal ingredients and order supplies as needed.
· Examine food products to ensure freshness, quality, and proper cooking.
· Perform food preparation tasks requiring strong motor coordination and manual dexterity
· Oversee kitchen operations and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
· Compile and monitor food and supplier inventory in a methodical and organized manner.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times.
· Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
· Set up and oversee buffets, when required.
· Clean the kitchen and work areas as needed.
· Schedule, supervise, and oversee kitchen helpers or subordinate personnel in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
· Hire and train kitchen staff, where applicable.
· Coordinate with other household staff (e.g., housekeeping) to support smooth daily operations.
· Accommodate last-minute requests and schedule changes with professionalism and flexibility.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Proven experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, or Executive Chef
· Culinary training or equivalent professional experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, keto, allergen-friendly)
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs
· Professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindset
· Valid food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
Wage and benefits
$70,000 to $74,000 per year
2 weeks’ vacation, extended health care, dental, LTD, Life Insurance, AD&D, Critical Illness

Pay: $33.65-$35.58 per hour
