- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial data
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget summaries and account statements
- Assist with payroll processing by verifying employee hours and deductions
- Support month-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and ledger updates
Skills
- Proficiency with popular accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
