Are you an experienced Controls Designer looking for the opportunity to work on innovative automation projects from concept through commissioning

This is a hands-on, design-focused role where you'll work on a variety of custom machinery, collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team, and see your designs come to life on the shop floor.

What You'll Be Doing
- Design electrical and pneumatic schematics for custom automated machinery using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop new electrical control system designs and modify existing electrical drawings based on customer requirements
- Collaborate with mechanical designers, engineers, production, and shop floor teams throughout each project
- Support machine startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration activities
- Ensure all electrical documentation is accurate, organized, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Design systems that meet customer specifications, safety standards, and project timelines
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of Controls Design experience in an industrial automation or custom machinery environment
- Strong hands-on experience using AutoCAD Electrical (required)
- Proven ability to create electrical schematics from scratch—not just modify existing drawings
- Experience designing electrical and pneumatic systems for automated equipment
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems and machine automation
- Experience supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, or machine startup is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Passport required
- Engineering or technical diploma is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
