Childcare Program Leader (Ages 5–10)
Do you know how to do 3D printing, work with engriving machine, loving using a cricut machine, doing STEMA and playing D& D. You got the right place. Our center has all the machines you need to engage with the children.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and responsible individuals to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- PLAY, and CONNECT. To be present, to watch, wait and wonder!
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities. Field trips, interactive group games, crafts / art projects, etc.
- Provide active supervision and positive leadership for children ages 5–10.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all participants.
- Work collaboratively with the team while also being confident working independently with children.
- Build open and supportive relationships with families.
- Assist with daily duties, including maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Be punctual, dependable, and proactive.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with school-age children.
- Minimum 20 hours of Responsible Adult Training or equivalent (e.g., ECE, ECE Assistant, or relevant coursework).
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Medical note from a doctor or a copy of the immunization record.
- Valid Childcare CPR/First Aid Certificate.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7:15-9:15 and 1:30–6:00 pm.
- Professional Development Day Camps: Ability to work 6–8 hour shifts.
- Wage: $21–$25/hour (includes 4% vacation pay), based on experience in childcare or recreation.
- Start Date: September 2026
