Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Liscensed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be attentive, professional, and capable of maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures. Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or assistance as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
- Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage
Skills
- Prior experience or training in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly when necessary
