Located in Innisfail AB, Sunset Manor is a supportive living residence committed to the compassionate and dignified care of its residents. We are currently accepting applications for a casual and part-time Housekeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the facility is cleaned to the standards set out in the housekeeping policy and procedure manual
- Responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms including bed-making, linen, towel changing, and laundry when required
- Reporting any safety issues to the housekeeping supervisor and responding to emergency situations with the proper procedures
- A flexible schedule is required, with shifts that may include days, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or facility environment (min 1 year preferred)
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Strong sense of teamwork and able to work independently
- Ability to deal empathically with seniors
- A criminal record check (including a vulnerable sector check) will be required
