We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Shop Manager. Our shop services a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks, semi-trucks, tractors, and loaders.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to lead a team while maintaining a high standard of work.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day shop operations to ensure work runs smoothly
- Ensure all work is completed properly
- Assist team members with tasks and troubleshooting when needed
- Retrieve tires and tubes for technicians
- Gather and record customer and job information accurately
- Enter job details into the computer system
- Answer phone calls and assist customers in a professional manner
- Assign tasks during slower periods (cleaning, organizing, maintenance)
- Assist with shop work as required
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others and lead a team
- Capable of working under pressure
