Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Packer & Local Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves efficiently packing orders in the warehouse and delivering goods locally to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse operations, and a valid commercial driver’s license. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move heavy or bulky items
- Load and unload shipments, assisting with heavy lifting as needed
- Maintain organized storage areas and keep inventory records up-to-date
- Deliver products to local customers in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during packing, loading, and delivery processes
- Assist with warehouse maintenance and cleanliness to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with moving and forklift operation
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage packing and delivery schedules efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation for local deliveries
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
