We’re growing and looking for experienced Aerial Telecommunications Technicians to join our field team.
Position Overview
The Aerial Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial fiber and telecommunications infrastructure. This position requires working at heights, operating bucket trucks, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and lash aerial fiber and coaxial cables
- Perform strand placement and overlash
- Install anchors, guys, and hardware
- Operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently
- Conduct aerial maintenance and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret construction prints and network drawings
- Complete daily documentation and reporting
- Maintain service vehicle and equipment inventory
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous aerial telecom experience (fiber or coaxial preferred)
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- Experience operating bucket trucks is an asset
- Knowledge of aerial construction standards
- Strong safety awareness
- Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
