We are a small sprint shop in Sherwood Park that has been growing consistently for the past 5 years. We are looking for a graphic designer to join our team and help bring us to the next level. We are looking for a highly motivated person that thinks outside the box to help us not only build our brand, but also deal with a steady stream of customer requests coming in. Somebody with print shop experience would be great as there would be a lot of pre-press work required.
Please note, this is not an entry level position as we are a very fast paced shop with as many as 20-30 jobs in and out each day. Must be able to multi-task and turn-around designs fairly quickly.
Being a small company, you would be exposed to a variety of tasks such as project management, design/coordination, production, dealing with walk-in customers and other office/clerical related jobs.

*Responsibilities*
- Create visually appealing designs for digital and print materials in a fast paced environment.
- Complete pre-press work on customer provided files to make print ready.
- Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and social media.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design compelling marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency throughout all designs.
- Work face to face with customers to determine design requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools.
*Experience*
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator. Photoshop experience would be helpful as well.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Ability to market ideas visually through digital design.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
