A DAY IN THE LIFE
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you’ll leverage your leadership and technical expertise to drive project success from start to finish.
- Lead and mentor a crew of 10+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers across multiple job sites
- Oversee and coordinate installations of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards — on time and on budget
- Perform quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Plan and coordinate sub-trades, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects on track
- Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities to maximize project success
- Lead site safety and ensure compliance with the company’s Operational Health and Safety Manual
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance of crew members
- Accurately complete and submit required documentation (HSE reports, QA/QC, lookaheads, etc.)
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or Lead Hand on commercial or multi-residential projects
- Red Seal Plumber Certification
- Proven experience leading crews on large-scale or long-term projects
- Strong knowledge of plumbing code, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Strong commitment to safety and leading by example on-site
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to lead independently and take full ownership of a project
- Reliable and dependable, you show up and lead by example
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and tools
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, you anticipate and solve problems before they escalate
