Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This position provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of manufacturing, quality and costing processes.
Bill of Materials Administration:
- Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify component, material, and labor information against production requirements.
- Support design, production, and purchasing departments with BOM revisions and updates.
- Maintain documentation and revision control for manufacturing records.
- Assist in identifying and correcting discrepancies within BOM data.
Job Costing Support:
- Assist with tracking labor, material, and overhead costs associated with manufacturing jobs.
- Maintain job costing records and supporting documentation.
- Generate reports and provide cost-related information to management as requested.
- Review production data for accuracy and assist in identifying cost variances.
- Support month-end and project cost analysis activities.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control Administration:
- Attend QA/QC meetings and inspections as required and record detailed meeting notes.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain QA/QC documentation and records.
- File inspection reports, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and related quality documentation.
- Ensure quality records are maintained in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Assist with document retrieval during audits and quality reviews.
Operations and General Administration:
- Enter and maintain manufacturing time sheet information in Sage 50 on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support production managers and supervisors with administrative tasks.
- Perform additional administrative, accounting and operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial or accounting environment.
- Experience with Sage 50 accounting software is considered an asset.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
