Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Ensure that all dining areas are clean and sanitized, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with cashiering and handling cash transactions is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
