We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join a leading equipment rental and service organization in the Ottawa area. Opportunities are available for both Shop Technicians and Road Service Technicians.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and construction machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems.
- Complete service reports and work orders accurately.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Road Service Technicians
- Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company in the field.
- Operate a service vehicle and manage field service requirements independently.
Shop Technicians
- Perform repairs and maintenance within a modern service facility.
- Work closely with the service team to support equipment readiness and fleet reliability.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Equipment Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own tools preferred.
- Heavy Equipment Technician certification considered an asset.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
