Description:
Lift Attendants play a key role in welcoming guests accessing the Bike Park, scenic sightseeing, hiking trails, and the Wild Rider Mountain Coaster. This is a hands on, guest facing role focused on safe lift operation, great service, and smooth mountain flow.
*The main season runs late June to early September, with opportunities for extra hours or a longer contract through participation in the Mountain Coaster build (May/June) and tear down (September/October).
Essential Functions:
- Direct and assist guests with safe, efficient loading and unloading chairlift.
- Lift and handle mountain bikes and coaster carts safely and confidently.
- Complete daily pre operational lift inspections and maintain accurate legal lift log documents.
- Monitor lift stations to keep areas safe, clean, and well organized.
- Report any operational irregularities to Lift Maintenance promptly.
- Foster positive guest relations through friendly, informative interactions.
- Support ticket validation and general operational tasks as needed.
- Work safely and effectively in all weather conditions.

Construction (Spring/Early Summer)
- Assist with assembling coaster track and components.
- Load, unload, and move tools, materials, and equipment.
- Use power tools and machinery following all safety protocols (training provided).
- Support painting, restoration, and light maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
Tear Down (Fall)
- Dismantle designated coaster elements according to safety procedures.
- Assist with storage and organization of materials.
- Support end of season cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Experience/Requirements:
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Comfortable lifting 20–50 lbs depending on assigned tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
- Mechanical aptitude or comfort using basic tools is an asset.
- Previous lift operations, construction, or ride attendant experience is helpful but not required.
- First Aid training an asset.
- Valid driver’s license an asset.
