We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Screen Printing Machine Operator to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed designs on various products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of graphic design principles and be proficient with industry-standard software, ensuring precise and vibrant print outputs.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 3pm-11pm
Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing presses - both automatic and manual
- Prepare screen, inks, and other material for production
- Produce detailed and accurate screen prints on apparel, textiles and promotional products
- Ensure all prints meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
- Keep work area clean, organized and free of hazards
- Assist with inventory and material ordering when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Work independently and follow instructions accurately
Requirements
- Previous screen printing experience is required
- 5 years of screen printing experience preferred
- 5 years of apparel production experience preferred
- Knowledge of screen printing techniques, materials, and equipment is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
