The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Bearing Engineer to join our Bearings division. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in bearing design who thrives in a collaborative, project-driven environment.
You will play a key role in the design, production support, and technical oversight of high-performance bearing systems, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure quality, precision, and performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Engineering
- Present new concepts or support client meeting with technical aspect
- Design and review bearing drawings prior to customer release
- Conduct research on bearing design, performance, and system feasibility
- Prepare technical reports including performance analysis, inspections, and failure investigations
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, including test witnessing and troubleshootingProject & Supplier Coordination
- Participate in technical project meetings and provide engineering guidance
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure specifications, quality standards, and drawings are met
- Address technical inquiries and support quality assurance processes
Documentation & Quality
- Review “as-built” QA documentation for compliance with project requirements
- Maintain engineering documentation, including revision control
- Support development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Design
- Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in bearing design
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with plain / hydrodynamic bearing design
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint)

Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour daytime schedule
