Prefab Housing Canada is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters for a modular residential project located in Surrey, British Columbia
- 8-Hour workdays (Monday to Friday), optional overtime available on Saturdays

Roles and responsibilities:
- Build and assemble concrete formwork for modular wall panels, floor cassettes, and foundation components in a controlled indoor facility
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints to determine formwork layout and dimensions
- Cut, shape, and assemble lumber, plywood, and engineered formwork systems (Symons, Aluma, or similar)
- Install formwork for window openings, door openings, and mechanical penetrations
- Dismantle forms after concrete has cured and prepare components for shipping
- Operate hand and power tools safely (saws, drills, nail guns, levels)
- Comply with WorkSafeBC safety regulations and company quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the prefabrication plant
- Coordinate with the concrete crew to ensure timely pour schedules

What you bring to the job:
- 2+ years of formwork carpentry experience (residential, commercial, or industrial)
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Own basic carpentry tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure, level, square, nail puller)
- Reliable transportation to our Surrey facility
- Steel-toed boots (CSA approved)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Nice to have but not required:
- Experience with modular or prefabricated construction
- Forklift certification
- First Aid certification
- WHMIS 2015 training
