The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in bridging the gap between design and construction.
You'll work closely with our design team, production managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are properly planned, organized, and ready for successful execution.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical and administrative work, loves creating structure, and takes pride in helping projects run smoothly from concept to completion.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Project Planning & Coordination
- Support the design team throughout project development and planning
- Prepare construction drawings, IFC drawings, and project documentation
- Coordinate project setup from design through construction
- Organize project files, schedules, binders, and tracking systems
- Assist with project scheduling and construction planning
Procurement & Materials
- Coordinate material sourcing, ordering, and tracking
- Assist clients with material selections and product research
- Obtain pricing and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure materials are procured and delivered according to project schedules
Client & Team Communication
- Act as a communication hub between clients, designers, production managers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support a seamless transition from design to construction
- Provide timely updates and maintain accurate project records
- Help deliver an exceptional client experience throughout every phase of the project
Permits & Documentation
- Apply for permits, utility locates, and dig tickets
- Track approvals and project requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and project records
- Ensure systems and project information remain organized and up to date

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the landscape industry, landscape construction, or related construction field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to create and modify construction drawings, IFC drawings, and project documentation
- Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret landscape, architectural, and construction plans
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or education in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience with municipal permitting processes and utility locates
- Experience sourcing materials and coordinating suppliers and subcontractors
- Experience using project management software and digital collaboration tools
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Land F/X, or other design software is considered an asset
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
