Job description:
Our client is seeking Manufacturing Helpers to start work immediately in the Brampton
It is a big company that extrudes PET sheet that is used for rigid thermoformed food containers, face shields, etc. Producing rolls that the customer unwinds and converts.
*12 Hour Continental Shifts- 7am to 7pm | 7pm to 7am
*Forklift (electric counter balance) Experience is a must. Minimum 1 years of experience.
*Requires 7 days availability.
Job Description:
- Responsible in running a PET sheet extrusion line to produce amorphous PET rolls.
- Accountable for material handling, blending, drying, extrusion, gauge profile setup, coating, winding and packaging of the finished rolls.
- Accountable in grinding & shredding scrap generated from the line.
- Housekeeping on the production floor.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs (23kg).
- Must be able to stand long periods of time.
Shifts:
- 12-hrs continental shifts -- 7:00am-7:00pm /7:00pm - 7:00am; must be able to work night shifts).
- Requires 7 days availability.
Pay rate: $20 - $21/hr
Required:
- Must speak, read, and write English
- Safety steel toe boots
- Full - time availability
