Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to oversee and execute complex electrical projects across various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. This role involves leading electrical installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. The Master Electrician will serve as a technical expert, guiding teams and ensuring the successful completion of projects with precision and professionalism.
Duties
- Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical work accurately.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and other electrical tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure low voltage systems are installed and maintained according to specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
- Train and mentor apprentice electricians or junior team members as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Master Electrician license with relevant state certification.
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience working with low voltage systems and understanding of electrical schematics.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently or lead a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
