Candidates should have the following:
- Ability to ice cakes professionally in a fast paced environment
- Measure and mix large batches of cake batter accurately
- Completion of Baking or Pastry course(s) is an asset;
- 6 months experience in a commercial scratch bakery;
- Ability to lift 25 kg and stand the entire shift;
- Ability to work independently; and,
- Open availability, including weekends with shifts as early as 8 a.m.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist bakers as needed;
- Scooping muffins, cutting cookies, panning buns etc;
- Baking assortment of goods: cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, buns, etc.;
- Adhering to food safety procedures;
- Keeping equipment and premises clean.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
