Position: Chiropractic Clinic Receptionist
Job Description: As the Chiropractic Clinic Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and friendly first impression for our patients, visitors, and callers. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be essential in effectively managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls, providing helpful and informative responses to inquiries.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, while considering the clinic's schedule and practitioners' availability.
- Coordinate with chiropractors and other clinic staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
- Light regular cleaning of high traffic areas.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred and/or completion of office administration program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written, some knowledge of French is helpful.
- Proficiency using computer systems and basic office software.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to assist and support patients' well-being.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Location: Wellness House, Westboro, Ottawa
Employment Type:
- Part-time, generally 15 - 20 hours a week, 3-4 shifts, including Saturday mornings
- Must be available Saturday mornings, some late afternoons, early evenings

Flexible language requirement:
Expected hours: 15-20 hours per week
Schedule:
- Saturday mornings until 1pm (closed on long weekends)
- Various weekday hours also needed. 3-4 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday. Mix of mornings and evenings. Every second Saturday.
