About the Role
We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Sales Co-op to support LILA's growth over an 8-month placement. You will report directly to Pedrum Amin and gain hands-on experience across marketing, sales, and fulfillment inside a fast-moving hardware startup, with real ownership over the channels and campaigns you touch.
What You'll Do
Marketing
· Assist with social media content creation and management across platforms
· Support SEO and website optimization efforts
· Help plan, execute, and report on email marketing campaigns
· Support the creation and management of paid advertising campaigns
· Assist with influencer marketing outreach and management
· Contribute to earned media efforts through partnerships and press outreach
· Help create one-pagers, packaging labels, and other marketing collateral
· Assist with event discovery, preparation, attendance, and post-event analysis
Sales
· Build and optimize sales systems and pipelines
· Maintain sales data and pipeline hygiene in HubSpot CRM
· Assist in lead discovery, outreach, and deal closing
Fulfillment
· Support planning and execution of order fulfillment
· Help manage customer interactions and feedback
Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a co-op, internship, or work-integrated learning program (e.g., WaterlooWorks, University of Toronto PEY, York University Co-op, or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field
· Eligible to complete a for-credit co-op/internship placement in Canada
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
· Basic understanding of SEO and content creation
· Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
· Enthusiasm for sustainability and innovation
· Comfortable appearing on camera for content (an asset, not required)
