Job Summary
Cafe Drew Marine Sharjah originated as a waterfront cafe in the UAE, known for fresh seafood, grilled specialties, and excellent coffee. Now we are bringing that same concept to North America. Our new location will serve marina visitors, office workers, and local residents in Vancouver. Before we open our physical doors, we need to build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses who will order catering, host events, and become regular customers. We are looking for a Remote Sales Specialist in Toronto to help us generate that initial buzz and secure pre-opening commitments.
Duties
- Reach out to offices, co-working spaces, and corporate campuses near our future Vancouver location
- Promote our catering menu (breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, corporate events)
- Secure pre-opening catering contracts and corporate accounts
- Contact event planners, wedding coordinators, and venue managers in Vancouver
- Present our venue as a waterfront dining and event space
- Book private parties, receptions, and group reservations
- Build relationships with local hotels, tour operators, and marina clubs
- Negotiate referral and partnership agreements
- Gather intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences in Vancouver
Experience
- 2-4 years of sales experience (hospitality, catering, events, or restaurant sales strongly preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English (you will speak with Vancouver-based businesses)
- Comfortable with outbound phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Reside in or within commuting distance of Toronto, ON (for occasional team meetings)
Nice to have but not required:
- Existing relationships with Vancouver-based businesses, event planners, or hotels
- Knowledge of the Vancouver food and beverage scene
- Experience with pre-opening or launch sales
- French or Mandarin language skills

Pay: $97,355.37-$110,208.53 per year
